Full time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,905 per year, plus get out payments.
The Kings Theatre is a high-profile south coast theatre with a serious commitment to providing an outstanding audience experience for all.
Our Technical team provide an effective professional technical and backstage service to the theatre including incoming production companies, in house productions, our youth theatre and community engagement.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Manager to manage the running of the Technical/Stage department, including management of the team, planning and delegating tasks to ensure everything is covered both in terms of planned and reactive responsibilities.
You will have experience of working at a senior technical level within a theatre, to ensure the operational delivery of organisational objectives can be met. You will bring with you excellent communication skills, understanding of the importance of relationship building as well as awareness of health & safety requirements and manual handling. Applicants must be able to work professionally under pressure, be able to lift and work at heights.
